Webmaster Guidelines

Websites on our guaranteed SEO services must comply with the following basic requirements at all times throughout the duration of the service.  Please read these guidelines before signing up for guaranteed SEO packages with Rank Sherpa.

Your domain must be hosted in your target country and/or have a domain extension referring to your target country such as example.com.au or example.co.uk

Each page being promoted must feature the primary keyphrase for that page in its page title at all times

Each page being promoted must feature the primary keyphrase for that page in at least one heading and at least once within the main body of text.

Your target page must contain at least 200 words of unique content.  All content, headings and navigation links must be search engine readable (real text). We cannot accept text embedded in images, videos & animations

You must not at any time change the URL of the pages that we are promoting

You must keep your website online at all times

You must keep the same keywords for the full contractual period

The pages being promoted must have unique canonical URL’s. For example the page http://example.com/ should not be duplicated at another URL such as or http://www.example.com/.  It doesn’t matter which URL you use, but there must be only one.

The pages being promoted must contain real words in their URL. For subpages, eg. www.example.com/another page.

The pages being promoted must have fully search engine readable URL’s.  In particular, they must not include any special characters such as %, =, ?, $, #, etc

Guarantee applies only for the guarantee period, which starts from the date contract is signed by the client & Scamper have confirmed that the website has been ready & accepted for optimisation.
